I studied at De Fotoacademie in Amsterdam and earned a Summa Cum Laude Fine Art Photography degree in 2005. In 2017 I made the pivot to become a self-taught painter. I work mostly in oil and gouache.
My paintings are about things you know are there, but cannot see and common experiences that feel uniquely personal when they happen to you.
